Richmond Tweed Regional Library (RTRL) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Tweed Heads team as a Library Assistant, covering a period of parental leave. As a Library Assistant with Richmond Tweed Regional Library, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality services to library patrons. Working within a multi‑skilled team, you will support a range of library operations, including maintaining and providing access to library collections, facilitating children’s programs, assisting customers, and using automated information systems and databases. This is a temporary, part-time role (31 hours per fortnight) offered on a maximum-term 11.5 month contract from mid June 2026 to 31 May 2027 . The position is based across Tweed Area Libraries , including Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, and Murwillumbah. Working hours are scheduled over a four-week roster and include Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and alternate Saturdays.
